MORE than 12,000 students from NSW and Victoria have converged on a Gold Coast glitter strip already heaving with raucous teens and police officers as the Schoolies festival continues to kick on.

HAWKESBURY high school students had the chance to meet with the CEO of the Commonwealth Bank, Ian Narev, at an informal dinner recently. The students are in a leadership programme, which Member for Hawkesbury Dominic Perrottet runs.

One month ahead of their HSC exams, Year 12 students participating in the Hawkesbury-Hills Student Leadership Programme (SLP) had the opportunity to meet and be mentored by Commonwealth Bank Managing Director and CEO Ian Narev.
